Every year in the month of February, Horsetail Fall becomes lit by the sunset. This breathtaking event brings thousands of people to Yosemite to watch as the waterfall turns into what looks to be a fire fall.
Located on the eastern side of El Capitan in Yosemite Valley, this fall only flows in the winter and early spring months.
In 2019, the fire fall brought around 2,000 visitors in just one day.
This year’s fire fall is expected to be visible from Feb. 13-25, 2022. Reservations will be required to enter the park, so it is best to book in advance.
If you are interested in booking this as a guided hiking tour event, talk to your host so we can make the reservation a stress free experience.
Reserve your spot now at the Sunshine Paradise Retreat for this magical time that only comes once a year.
