2-Day Virtual Women’s Grief Meditation Retreat for Loss of Partner, Spouse, or Soulmate

ree

Are you a woman grieving the loss of your partner, spouse or soulmate and longing for a safe space to be held in understanding?

In March 2025, my partner — my soulmate — passed away suddenly due to complications from a brain aneurysm, also known as a stroke. My world changed in an instant. In the days and weeks that followed, I was left navigating the deepest grief I had ever known while trying to rebuild my life from the ground up.

In the midst of that heartbreak, I turned to the practices that have always grounded me — meditation, mindful movement, sound healing, nourishing meals, time in nature, and a supportive community. These natural, holistic practices became my lifeline. Death is a natural part of life and I believe that it can be navigated naturally. These things didn’t “fix” my grief — because grief isn’t something to fix — but they helped me find moments of peace, clarity, balance and presence in the midst of the pain. I don’t think we ever truly heal from certain traumas. They become a part of us.

It’s from this place that I created Sacred Stillness: A 2-Day Women’s Virtual Grief Meditation Retreat. My intention is to connect with other women walking this same path, to offer the tools and practices that have supported me, and to create a compassionate space where we can be present with one another in love, stillness, and understanding.

A Sanctuary for Women in Grief

In my journey navigating grief and observing others on this journey with me so far, I have noticed grief can be experienced in so many different ways for different people - men and women. This retreat is designed specifically for women who have lost a partner, spouse, or soulmate. Since I am a woman, this is who I feel I can most connect with in this journey. It’s a safe, nurturing space to gather virtually, slow down, and connect with others who truly understand. You’re welcome to share your story, sit in stillness, or simply listen and receive — there’s no pressure, no judgment, and no “right” way to grieve.

What You Can Expect

Over the course of two days, we’ll move through a variety of holistic practices to support your mind, body, and heart, including:

  • Guided meditations for grounding and emotional release

  • Optional gentle yoga to reconnect with your body in a mindful, loving way

  • Sound healing to soothe the nervous system and invite inner calm

  • Sacred grief-sharing circles to be witnessed and heard, or simply held in presence

  • Walking meditations to integrate mindfulness into each step

  • Shared virtual meal times, with nourishing recipe suggestions from my own kitchen

  • Quiet reflective moments for journaling or rest

This retreat is offered online via Zoom so you can join from the comfort of your own home or choose to create a special sacred space for yourself.
